Biography

My research focuses on surveys for neutral atomic hydrogen (HI) and the role played by this material in the formation and evolution of galaxies.  I lead the DINGO survey, a project that will take deep HI observations with the Australian SKA Pathfinder to understand how the HI content of the Universe has evolved over the past 4 billion years.  In the lead-up to this project, I am working on CHILES, a deep HI survey being carried out with the Very Large Array.  I am a member and former co-chair of the SKA HI galaxy science working group.
