Biography

Mark holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from University College Dublin in Ireland and has previously served as a Research Fellow in the National University of Singapore. He earned a GSK Exceptional Science Award during his role as a Senior Process Engineer in GlaxoSmithKline Research & Development Limited, UK and obtained the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst qualification. He is experienced with molecular simulation studies of diffusion and adsorption, the scale-up of catalytic hydrogenation reactions, adsorbent characterisation, adsorption process simulation and the design and commissioning of a vacuum swing adsorption pilot plant for the capture of carbon dioxide from wet flue gas. His interests are in adsorption science and technology for gas separations.
