Responsible for Managing the Ethics and compliance Teams at UWA: Animal Ethics; Biological Safety; Human Ethics; Clinical Trials and International Compliance.
Ensuring that UWA conducts that is in accordance with Australian ethical standards as required by national and state legislation and research governance bodies. Processing and assessing applications to conduct research with human participants, animals or biologically hazardous materials. Ensuring that the university continues to comply with national requirements for international collaboration, including defence trade controls, sanctions and foreign interference laws.
