Currently a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences within the Division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Research fields include microbiology, in particular perinatal pathogens and exploration of antibiotic alternatives such as bacteriophage therapy. Lucy has a strong discovery to translation focus to her research and is supervised by Dr Matthew Payne and Professor Barbara Chang.

Research interests

Microbiology, bacteriophage biology and therapy, antimicrobial resistance and alternative therapies, perinatal pathogens, Group B Streptococcus (Streptococcus agalactiae) and infectious diseases more broadly.
