Biography

Louise is a registered pharmacist and Senior Research Officer at the Dobney Hypertension Centre, and is responsible for oversight of investigator-led clinical trials. Her research focus is in hypertension, including service delivery models to improve access to care in metropolitan and rural communities, and applications of retinal imaging in the diagnosis and management of hypertension and hypertension-mediated organ-damage. Louise is also Chair of the Dobney Hypertension Centre Consumer Advisory Group, and actively engages with consumers to ensure the research meets the needs of people living with hypertension. Louise's ultimate aim as an early career researcher is to develop into an independent clinical researcher.
