Biography

Long He is currently a Lecturer in Management and Organisation Department at the University of Western Australia Business School. Long holds a Ph.D. in Organisation Studies from York University in Canada. 

Long's research interests center on ethics and encompass corporate and employee social responsibility, behavioral ethics, and leadership.

Research

Long He’s research examines ethics within and beyond the workplace, with a focus on employee social responsibility, corporate social responsibility (CSR), behavioural ethics, and leadership. Her work employs diverse methods including field surveys, experiments, and meta-analyses to explore how individuals and organizations navigate ethical challenges. One of her studies published in the Journal of Applied Psychology investigates how different forms of CSR shape employees’ psychological responses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Building on this and related projects, she contributes to a micro-level understanding of how ethical values influence workplace behavior and organizational practices.
