Lizeth Orozco graduated from ITESM campus Guadalajara, in Mexico, in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biotechnology Engineering. She then earned First Class in a Master of Science in Stem Cell Technology in 2016 at the University of Nottingham in UK. While doing her masters, she became passionate about research and decided to start a PhD. In between her studies, she has managed to get working experience while working in private and public laboratories. Lizeth is currently a 3rd year PhD candidate at the National Centre for Asbestos Related Diseases, at UWA in Perth, Australia. She is investigating mesothelioma invasion while targeting specific proteins and currently working in combination therapy with immunotherapy.
