Biography

Lisette is a social researcher who has worked on research and evaluation projects conducted in academic contexts, as well as while working the community sector, as a public servant and as an independent consultant. This experience spans education, health, alcohol and other drugs and mental health, and programs addressing homelessness and legal issues and includes locally-based project evaluations, as well as broader evaluations that contribute to national reform including; Closing the Gap and National Partnership initiatives.

With an interest in knowledge translation, Lisette draws on this experience in her role as co-facilitator of a two-day Outcomes Measurement Workshop delivered throughout metropolitan and regional Australia. Her focus is on demystifying research methods and increasing confidence in using evidence to support decision making and practice. Lisette is Co-convenor of the Western Australia Branch of the Australian Evaluation Society.
