Linda Martin lectures in creative writing at the School of Indigenous Studies at the University of Western Australia (UWA). She is also co-publisher and co-editor of the independent publishing house, Night Parrot Press, and as was senior in-house editor (fiction) at UWA Publishing from 2006 to 2014. She has also edited for Fremantle Press and Magabala Books. Linda particularly enjoys working with and mentoring new and rising writers.
Linda’s writing and research includes flash fiction and creative nonfiction, and Nyungar Placenames (with Professor Len Collard). Linda is currently writing a creative nonfiction ethnographic history of Fremantle Arts Centre Press as part of her PhD at Edith Cowan University.
