Biography

Lili Qiu is an Adjunct Research Fellow/ Academic Tutor with the UWA Business School.  She has a PhD in innovation, marketing, and management, a double Masters in Electronic Business and Commerce, and a Bachelor of Arts.

Lili’s research interests include: Innovation, strategies, big data modelling, digitalisation, internationalisation, and consumer behaviours.

Before her academic career, Lili was an industry practitioner who had worked in both China and Australia across various industries, such as media, IT Services, Internet, and higher education, in various roles such as Project Manager, Data Analyst, Marketing Manager, and Copywriter.

Lili’s industry experience spans higher education and the private sector. At UWA, Lili served as Data Lead and Project Manager for more than a dozen accreditation projects across five schools, including EQUIS, AACSB, and UNPRME, in the role of FABLE Accreditation Officer. In China, Lili published over 100 articles in newspapers and magazines and contributed to pioneering innovation initiatives: marketing the first joint foreign–Chinese TV channel, promoting the first online job-search platform, and supporting the business model and branding of China’s first general online payment system.

Lili is currently a lecturer and unit coordinator in the Higher Education Department at Stanley College. She is also a tutor at the UWA Business School.
