Lili Qiu is currently a full-time PhD Candidate with the UWA Business School in the field of innovation, marketing, management and organisations.
Prior to this, Lili was an industry practitioner who has been working in both China and Australia in various industries such as media, technologies, Internet and higher education, in various roles such as Project Manager, Data Analyst, Marketing Manager and Copy Writer.
Lili has gained a few degrees from both Australia and China, including Double Masters in Marketing and Electronic Business and a Bachelor of Arts.
Examples of Lili’s work include data lead and project management for a dozen of accreditation projects across five schools of UWA, including EQUIS, AACSB and UNPRME when working as Faculty Accreditation Officer for the UWA Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Education; published more than 100 articles in Chinese newspapers and magazines when working in China. As one of the industry pioneers, Lili also involved in various industry innovation activities in an emerging market. Examples include marketing the first foreign and Chinese joint TV channel in mainland China; promoting the first online job search website in China; and participating in business model design and branding for China’s first general online payment system.
