Biography

I spent 27 years in China before coming Australia. 27 years can be divided into 3 stages.
Stage 1: 0-13
Interests in biology establishment: I watched the ants transporting food and mused for hours beside their nest at 5 years old (according to my Mom). My first experiment was to put dozens of ants in a transparent glass bottle filled with soil and analyzed the labyrinth they built.
Stage2: 14-18
?!?!?!?!...
Stage3 18-27
Found my wife and chose to learn biology.

mitochondrial proteomics, protein turnover, complex assembly, metabolite analysis

Future research

How fast a given protein is degraded? When a given protein is degraded? How a given protein is degraded?

Research

I am studying the protein turnover in plants through isotope labeling and mass spectrometry to provide a more extensive understanding of its role in regulating the proteome.
