Biography

Leaf Kardol is a PhD candidate at the School of Human Sciences under the supervision of A/Prof. Caitlin Wyrwoll, Dr Erin Kelty, Dr Sarah Bourke and Dr Christine Jeffries-Stokes. Their research is currently looking at nitrate and other water contaminants and their effects on pregnancy, labour and offspring outcomes. Their areas of interest more broadly include understanding the effects of climate change on human health, especially on reproductive health, and promoting health equality for transgender people and neurodivergent people through community driven research.
