Personal profile

Biography

I completed my PhD within UWA's School of Psychological Science in 2018. My PhD examined the role of cognitive processing in body image and eating disturbances. After completing my PhD, I continued to build expertise in this unique line of research in the role of Research Fellow at UWA (2019-2023). During this role, I also lectured and coordinated undergraduate courses and supervised research students.

In 2024, I commenced as Research Manager at the WA Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and I maintain an adjunct position at UWA.

Research interests

My current research focuses on child and adolescent mental health.

I still hold an interest and collaborate on projects examining the role of cognitive processes, such as biases in the processing of food and appearance-related information, in body image and eating disturbances.
