Biography
Laila is the Director of the Office of Research. The Office of Research provides service and support to the UWA community and its partners in their pursuit of high quality, trusted, innovative research for our community. This encompasses:
- pre- and post- award management processes
- contractual management and authorised execution
- development and education of researchers in funding opportunities, including major bids involving industry partners
- ethics, integrity and compliance requirements
- strategic and national assessments of research
- celebration and recognition of the impact achieved by UWA research and its researchers
The Office of Research provides support to DVCR research infrastructure centres, the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Research, Pro Vice Chancellor of Research and Pro Vice Chancellor of Health and Medical Research.
