Biography

Dr Kenny Yang is an Honorary Fellow at the University of Western Australia. He holds dual appointments in the Singapore Attorney-General's Chambers - as Deputy Head, School of Legal Knowledge where he leads the education & training of prosecutors, and as Deputy Public Prosecutor where he conducts prosecutions across a wide variety of matters.

Kenny graduated with a Doctor of Juridical Science from the University of Western Australia. He also holds a Master of Laws from the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Laws (First Class) from Murdoch University. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia, the High Court of New Zealand, and the Supreme Court of Singapore. He is also an Accredited Mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre.

Kenny has experience in teaching criminal law, tort law, legal research & writing, business law, and introductory law units at universities in Australia and Singapore. He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His research and practice interests include criminal law and alternative dispute resolution.
