K. M. Yasif is a PhD candidate in the Division of Pharmacy, School of Allied Health, The University of Western Australia. His research project is focused on developing a validated High-Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC) tool for the evaluation of targeted molecules in complex matrices. He has been awarded the UWA International Fee Scholarship and the University Postgraduate Award for pursuing PhD.
He has a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) and Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) in Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. After completing his postgraduation he worked in a reputed pharmaceutical company and later joined at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh as a lecturer. He is currently holding the position of Assistant Professor of the same department with a study leave.
His research interests are in analytical chemistry and pharmaceutics.
