Biography

I completed my Ph.D in Geosciences in 2021 between the GeoRessources laboratory, University of Lorraine, Nancy, France, and Arethuse Geology, a mineral exploration company, Aix-en-Provence, France. My previous research work focused on the integration of gold ore deposits in their tectono-metamorphic context at every scale, following a multi-scale, multi-method mineral system approach. To do so, I conducted collaborative work with both academic and industrial partners in order to collect and interpret field observations (e.g., mapping, core logging) in the Neoproterozoic Nubian shield together with lab analyses (micro-petrographical-structural study, whole-rock and in situ mineral geochemistry, geochronology and isotopy). It eventually allows to discuss the relationships between the Gondwana supercontinent cycle, gold crustal fertility, structural control on mineralisation and ore-forming processes up to the micrometric scale.

I joined the Centre for Exploration Targeting at UWA in March 2023 and works as a Research Assistant for the fourth stage of the West African eXploration Initiative (WAXI4), aiming at applying and improving a similar multi-scale, multi-method approach.
