Biography

Dr Jonathon Ng is a clinician-scientist with an interest and expertise in using data linkage and big data analytics in ophthalmology and eye research. Dr Ng is actively engaged in research at the Eye and Vision Epidemiology Research Group and is a Clinical Associate Professor at The University of Western Australia’s School of Population Health and Global Health. He is an investigator on research grants worth more than $2 million. He was previously a member of the RANZCO Glaucoma Curriculum Standards Review Panel and the RANZCO Clinical Audit Working Group, and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Australian and New Zealand Glaucoma Society and Ophthalmology Committee of Glaucoma Australia. Dr Ng was recognised for his endeavours with Achievement Awards from the American Academy of Ophthalmology in 2016 and the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology in 2017.
