Biography

Jon has a PhD in Agricultural Economics with Honourable Mention in the Dean's List award at the UWA School of Agriculture and Environment, University of Western Australia. He is an Agricultural and Applied Economist specialising in agricultural value chains, conservation agriculture economics, behavioural economics, farm risk management, and technology adoption. Jon has been involved in research and consultancy projects in Australia, Bangladesh, India, Lao PDR, Nepal, and the Philippines funded by ACIAR, GRDC, Australian Future Drought Fund, and ADB. Prior to joining UWA, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of the Philippines Mindanao.
