Biography

Jo is an archaeologist and cultural heritage consultant with 20 years experience in Australian Aboriginal archaeology and heritage management. She holds a BA (Hons) in Archaeology (USyd), Applied Masters in Cultural Heritage Studies (Curtin), CertIV Workplace Assessment and Training and CertIV Business (Frontline Management). Jo owns and runs a heritage consultancy in Perth; has been an intern at the WA Museum and UNESCO World Heritage Centre; and has lectured in UWA's Masters of Heritage Studies.  Jo is a full member, Membership Secretary and the WA Chair of the Australian Association of Consulting Archaeologists Incorporated (AACAI); a member of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS); and a member of the Australia ICOMOS Indigenous Heritage Reference Group.
