Biography

I am a mechanical and materials engineer currently working as a Research Associate at the University of Western Australia. My research focuses on advanced materials manufacturing, specializing in metal additive manufacturing technologies such as 3D printing. I investigate the effects of processing parameters, material microstructure, and defects on the performance of high-performance metals, including titanium alloys, nickel-chromium alloys, and aluminum alloys.

I am a team member at TechWorks Futurelab at UWA, collaborating with Woodside Energy Group on 3D printing research involving nickel superalloys. In the project titled “Techworks - Pixie Dust,” I contribute to the 3D printing of prototypes and specimens and conduct microstructural characterizations, mechanical testing, and failure mechanisms analysis.

During my postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Melbourne, I participated in a significant project titled “Aluminium Alloy Design for 3D Binder Jet Printing,” which was conducted in collaboration with Ford Motor Company to develop lightweight alloys for electric vehicles.
