Jessica Wall is a PhD candidate in Classics and Ancient history. Her research interests include Roman Imperial History, Historiography, Narratology, Moral Didacticism, and Gender. She is currently working on her doctoral thesis, tentatively titled Dionysius of Halicarnassus and the Roman Antiquities: Narrative, Moral Didacticism and Explanation, which looks at the moralising narrative in the 1st century BCE historiographical text the Roman Antiquities by Dionysius of Halicarnassus.
Jessica received her BA (Hons. I) in Classics and Ancient History from the University of Western Australia, with a second major in History. In 2023, she was awarded the RTP Scholarship for her academic excellence.
Classics and Ancient History HDR representative on the School of Humanities Research and Research Training Committee (2023-24).
