Biography

Dr Girschik is currently a Principal Policy Officer with the Western Australian (WA) Department of Health, in the Public Health Strategy and Biosecurity Unit responsible for project planning and management in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Previously, she has held reserach positions at the International Agency for Research on Cancer, in the Monographs program, and at the University of Western Australia, where she investigated the roles of sleep and occupation on breast, prostate and bowel cancers.
