Jeanette is a PhD Candidate and Research Associate at the University of Western Australia. She received the Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship to undertake the PhD. Her thesis defines the complex or ‘wicked’ problem of diffuse source pollution from agriculture in Queensland and Western Australia from a socio-legal perspective through doctrinal and empirical legal research. In her role as Research Associate, she manages research project Charities Accessing Reserves: Building Resilience by Helping WA Charities Access their Reserves in Crises, which includes both doctrinal and empirical legal research within not-for-profit law and policy. 

In 2018, Jeanette completed the Teaching Fellowship Professional Development Program with the University of Western Australia.

Jeanette holds a Master of Mining and Energy Laws from the University of Western Australia (UWA), and LLM and LLB degrees from the University of Copenhagen. She received the Faculty of Law Prize in Corporate Governance for Resources Companies from UWA in 2016.
