Jake Turvey is a research assistant at the School of Population and Global Health, joining the Home2Health team in early 2020. He assists with the research and evaluation of various health projects for those experiencing homelessness and other vulnerable population groups. Jake has a strong background in public health and international development, with much of his previous work being centered on implementing and evaluating small scale aid and community development projects in Eastern Indonesia.

Jake has a strong passion for addressing social and health inequalities through participatory and evidence-based research, and has just completed his Master of Public Health with a specialisation in Infectious Disease Control at UNSW.
