Personal profile


I was born in Fujian, China and a Rabbit ∩_∩ in the 12 Zodiac Animals. Completed my undergraduate degree in environmental sciences (2010) in South-central University for Nationalities in Wuhan, China.
I travelled to New Zealand to pursue postgraduate study at Lincoln University and finished my PhD degree (2017) in restoration ecology and soil science. My PhD supervisors were Prof Nicholas Dickinson, Dr Carol Smith and Prof Brett Robinson.
I am now doing my postdoc under Prof Hans Lambers’s supervision.
