Biography

I was born in Fujian, China, and a Rabbit ∩_∩ in the 12 Zodiac Animals. Completed my undergraduate degree in environmental sciences (2010) at South-central University for Nationalities in Wuhan, China.
I traveled to New Zealand to pursue postgraduate study at Lincoln University and finished my Ph.D. degree (2017) in restoration ecology and soil science. My Ph.D. supervisors were Prof Nicholas Dickinson, Dr. Carol Smith, and Prof Brett Robinson.
I am now doing my postdoc under Prof Hans Lambers and Assos/Prof Erik Veneklaa's supervision.
