Dr. Ghulam Mubashar Hassan received his B.Sc Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree (with honors) from University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar, Pakistan. He completed his MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oklohoma State University USA with GPA 4.0/4.0. Later, he completed his PhD from The University of Western Australia in Joint Schools of Computer Science & Software Engineering and Civil & Resource Engineering. He was validictorian and received many awards for his PhD including UWA Entrepreneurship Award 2015, UWA Bruce & Betty Award, Australian Postgraduate Award, UWA Merit Top-up Award and International Mining for Developing Countries (IM4DC) Postgraduate Research Award.

He is currently working in UWA as Lecturer (equal to Assistant Professor in USA). Earlier, he served as an Assistant Professor in UET Peshawar for 4 years and Research Associate in King Saud University. He has received multipe grants accumulating to $41,850 AUD. 

His research interests are multidisciplinary problems and engineering learning which inlcude artificial intelligence, machine learning, pattern recognition, optimization and virtual reality.

Fingerprint Fingerprint is based on mining the text of the person's scientific documents to create an index of weighted terms, which defines the key subjects of each individual researcher.
