Biography
Gerald Watts is a Winthrop Professor in the UWA Medical School at the University of Western Australia and a Senior Consultant Physician at Royal Perth Hospital. His research focuses on cardio-metabolic medicine, lipid disorders, and cardiovascular disease prevention, with particular attention to familial hypercholesterolaemia and dyslipidaemia. His work has contributed to clinical research, guideline development, and health service models related to cardiovascular risk management, with applications relevant to patient care in Australia and internationally.
