Dr. Zhangxin (Frank) Liu is an Associate Professor of Finance at the UWA Business School's Department of Accounting and Finance, and a CEH research affiliate . His research spans asset pricing, corporate finance, economic history, and private equity. Dr. Liu has an extensive publication record in prestigious journals, including the Business History, Economic History Review, Financial Analysts Journal, Journal of Corporate Finance, and Journal of Banking & Finance, among others.
Since 2015, Dr. Liu has received over 15 teaching awards, highlighted by the 2019 AAUT Citation Awards at the national level. He earned his PhD in Finance from the University of Queensland after completing dual bachelor's degrees in Actuarial Studies and Finance (First Class Honours) at the Australian National University.
Dr. Liu also serves on the Faculty Advisory Board for Continuity Capital Partners Pty Limited.
