Biography

I am currently the Academic Coordinator at the McCusker Centre for Citizenship and also connected to the Department for Social Work and Social Policy.

I have worked as a Social Worker in several organisations in WA and Victoria. This has included working in child protection, children in care, youth, employment, disability, drug and alcohol, family support, domestic violence, homelessness, social policy, lobbying and advocacy, and more. I have also worked in roles such as case manager, counsellor, community development worker, manager, and CEO. 

I’ve spent most of my social work career in direct practice, the management of social service programs, and systems work to improve outcomes for vulnerable people.
