Biography

Federica completed a BA (Laurea Triennale) in Arts, a MA (Laurea Specialistica) in Modern Philology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching Italian as a second language at the Catholic University of Milan, Italy. In 2017 she completed her PhD (Passed with no revisions) in Italian linguistics at UWA, with a project on the role of Italian as a language of international communication in the Catholic missionary Church (The correspondence in Italian of Rosendo Salvado, the Spanish founder of the New Norcia, Western Australia. A linguistic analysis on Italian as lingua franca in the 19th century).
