Evenda Dench

Dr Evenda Dench is Research Manager (Pre-Award) in the Office of Research. She holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry and Science Communication, and has broad experience working in research development across professional services and academic settings. Her past roles include academic journal editor, industry grants and incentives consultant, and research centre manager. Evenda’s expertise lies in providing strategic advice to researchers around framing proposals for research funding as well as identifying and facilitating multidisciplinary research collaborations. She has extensive knowledge on coordinating and assisting researchers with the preparation of research grant proposals and can assist with liaising and building linkages with government agencies and industry bodies to support research efforts.
