Eric Alves is a research assistant and sessional academic in the School of Human Sciences. Eric is also currently completing his PhD at the Institute for Immunology and Infectious Diseases (Murdoch University) and Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research (QEII Medical Centre) on cancer immunotherapy.

Eric has a strong background in cellular and molecular immunology, completing his BSc(Hons) in 2019 on the mechanisms used by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) to evade the host immune response.
