Emma is a Senior Lecturer in Health Professions Education, School of Allied Health. She has worked in HPE for 13 years, commencing with UWA in 2022 following a 2-year period of parental leave during which she relocated to Perth from Brisbane. While in Brisbane at UQ, Emma held academic roles in the School of Medicine and School of Dentistry, and academic development roles in the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences and Institute for Teaching and Learning Innovation. Emma currently teaches in the postgraduate Certificate, Diploma and Masters courses in health professions education. 

Emma's current research interests include interprofessional education and practice, work integrated learning, faculty development and professional identity formation, and student experience including student selection.
