Biography

Elisa Adriasola is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at the Business School of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. She completed her Ph.D. in Management at The University of Western Australia Business School, where she also held Research Associate and Lecturer positions.

Her research focuses on leadership and motivation, specifically on three areas: leadership development, shared leadership, and diversity issues associated with leadership in organizations. She has been awarded over US$200,000 (CLP$145,000,000) for funded research from both international (US Army Research Institute) and national (FONDECYT, ANID) funding bodies. Her research output includes contributions to specialized edited international books, quality peer-reviewed journals (Q1 or A* and A), and presentations at several refereed international conferences (AOM, SIOP, IOP, IWP, ILA, EWOP, among others). Elisa holds a rich scholarly network and collaborates with solid international teams in the US, Canada, UK, Germany, Finland, and Australia. She is part of the Advancing Leadership Research group and part of the strategic team of Leadership Research Initiative, part of the Kansas Leadership Center (USA), and a founding member of the Chilean Society of Psychology and Organizational Behavior (SOCIPCO).

Elisa has over ten years of experience designing and delivering high-quality teaching and learning, including designing courses with innovative pedagogies at corporate, MBA, postgraduate, and undergraduate levels in leadership, teams, OB, HR, training, and diversity.

Elisa has a thorough grasp of people's critical and strategic role in developing organizational success for the future – and current – uncertain environment of work.
