His research interests include chronic pain syndromes due to nerve entrapment conditions and advanced therapeutic techniques using imaging guidance including PRP, Botox, and neurolysis injections.
Beyond clinical and research roles, Dr Koh interests include the development of an App and clinical software for the management of chronic pain due to cervicobrachial and postural pain syndromes, including Neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. This work brings his unique expertise in managing the rehabilitation in elite athletes to the field of chronic pain management. He is also co-founder of SpeedSig, a biotech start-up using biomechanical analysis software to enhance athletic performance and guide rehabilitation.
Dr. Koh has recently been appointed Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Western Australia Medical School. In this capacity, he intends to contribute to novel research exploring the impact of cervicobrachial pain syndromes on chronic pain and limbic system dysfunction.
