Biography
Deborah moved into research in health related areas during her PhD which used ethnographic approaches to investigate literacy and health literacy practices in a hospital clinical cardiovascular context. She continued on in qualitative health research, working on topics related to such things as end of life, aged care, older adults' spirituality, polypharmacy, health education, rural carers and dementia, COVID and end of life visiting practices, and health literacy. Currently she is working on a Clinical Yarning research project based in WA’s Midwest.
