Biography

I am a member of the Complex Sytems Group within the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.  I am interested in developing techniques to further the understanding of complex systems, and applying such to aid data analysis in fields as diverse as ecology, granular physics, and electronics.

I received a PhD from UWA researching topics in nonlinear times series anaylsis from a dynamical systems perspective.  I have held a number of research positions at many institutions including jointly with College of William and Mary/HP Labs, Biomathematics and Statistics Scotland, and University of Melbourne.  Since 2016 I have held a teaching and research position at UWA.
