Biography

David is a writer, researcher and teacher. His research spans digital media and culture, technology and governance, (post)colonialism and race, Australian literature, culture and society, screen studies, VR/XR, media and environment, consumption cultures and social and cultural theory. David’s publications feature in high-ranking journals of international and national standing and he has been invited to contribute his work to a number of collaborative projects, edited collections and conference presentations. David is a highly-experienced, dedicated and passionate teacher and has taught at the Universities of Melbourne, Queensland and Western Australia.
