Personal profile
Biography
For over 25 years I have worked for BHP in Perth, starting out initially as a process technician on the Kwiana Nickel Refinery. After two years I moved over to an information processing role, initially as metallurgical accountant, then as information systems officer, and subsequently systems analyst. It was durng this time that I developed an appreciation of interdependent Manufacturing Execution Systems used within the mining and processing industries. I now work as the Principal of Systems in Iron Ore's Integrated Production and Remote Operations center.
10 years after competing my MBA I am returing to part time study to tackel a PhD in Software Enginering. My focus is on technical debt within interdependent informaton systems, as used within large scale mining company supply chains.
