Personal profile

My research is primarily centred around understanding the cognitive and emotional processes that underpin various health behaviours and conditions such as healthy eating, obesity, alcohol consumption, tobacco use, chronic health conditions (diabetes, chronic pain) and exercise.

I completed my PhD in 2014 and spent five years working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in Western Australia as a Research Co-ordinator. I returned to UWA to work in the School of Psychological Science as a Research Fellow in 2019 in the Centre for the Advancement of Research on Emotion.
