    Biography

    Daniel Jan Martin studies urban ecology and hydrology in relationship to architecture and landscape architecture. He is based in the UWA School of Design where he teaches in the architecture and landscape architecture programmes. Daniel works within the CRC for Water Sensitive Cities, a national interdisciplinary research programme for water sensitive urbanism and design. His current research and doctorate is exploring strategies for coordinating infill housing with ecological repair. He has a particular interest in environmental communication and contributes to environmental education through the Whole Perth Catalogue. He is an ongoing facilitator and volunteer with oz.e.tecture, the Architecture Foundation Australia based in Sydney.
