Dani is a PhD candidate at the School of Population and Global Health at the University of Western Australia. Her research focuses on women with ADHD, particularly during pregnancy. With a strong interest in equity and consumer-led research, she uses qualitative and quantitative methods to explore how pharmacotherapy options for ADHD treatment may affect and be affected by pregnancy. Her work is informed by direct community consultation and aims to improve clinical guidance and policy by centering the voices of individuals with lived experience. Prior to her PhD, she completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) investigating the maternal and neonatal health outcomes associated with ceasing or continuing dexamphetamine treatment during pregnancy. She has contributed to several projects related to environmental exposure effects on maternal and child health. She is passionate about translating research into practice to better support women who have ADHD and their families.
