Crystal Cooper is a microbiologist and Cryo-Electron Microscopy Research Fellow in the Centre for Microscopy, Characterisation, and Analysis. Crystal completed a Masters degree in Zoological Science characterising flatworms, and a PhD at UWA and Murdoch University in marsupial parasitology. Subsequently she spent four years at the Central Analytical Research Facility, Queensland University of Technology as an electron microscopy specialist and the Microscopy Lab Coordinator. Her areas of expertise are light, electron, x-ray, and ion beam microscopy.
