Biography

Claire has been happily teaching Law since 2006, having spent the previous decade in various forms of legal practice. She has taught into LLB, JD, and LLM programs at several of Australia’s leading law schools and worked extensively in legal skills development (advanced research and writing) and mentoring for Law Masters and PhD students. Her main interests are in private law (property and contract) and personal law.

Claire is a teaching specialist and has been recognised with teaching excellence awards at both university and national level. She particularly enjoys working with students who are new to Law and those who are transitioning from other disciplines, other legal systems, or other languages.
