Biography

As a Senior Scientist in the Microbiology Surveillance Unit at PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA, and a Senior Adjunct Lecturer in the Division of Infection & Immunity at the School of Biomedical Sciences, The University of Western Australia, I have led numerous projects in the field of respiratory virus surveillance, diagnostics, viral evolution, and virus-host interactions. My expertise in these areas has resulted in the development of innovative diagnostic tools and a deeper understanding of the mechanisms underlying viral diseases.
