Experienced Clinical Specialist in Falls Prevention and Management, senior physiotherapist and researcher in gerontology, rehabilitation, and prevention of functional decline for older adults transitioning through the health system. Completed PhD to time in 2020 (Curtin University), high-ranking journal publications of all articles including a systematic review and meta-analysis of effective falls prevention interventions for older adults discharged from hospital, which was referenced in the UK National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (16 May 2019); and quantitative and qualitative evaluations of a falls-prevention education program. A keen grass-roots health-service developer with an interest in educating and collaborating across disciplines to reduce hospital-related functional decline, falls, and demand for healthcare. Enthusiastic about creating social impact for older adults and caregivers who engage with the healthcare system. Excellent collaborator who draws on team-member strengths to create stories of change for the healthcare sector.
