Biography

Dr Charlene Waryah is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with expertise in cancer biology, microbiology and epigenetics.  Based at Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research under the guidance of A/Prof Pilar Blancafort, Dr Waryah leads CRISPR epigenetic editing projects within the Cancer Epigenetics laboratory.  Her current research interest is in the development of novel epigenome engineering tools to reprogram dyregulated cells with a focus on molecular therapeutics.
