Biography

Over 18 years of experience in clinical pharmacology and toxicology, pharmacometrics, and clinical trials specialising in pediatric and maternal-fetal pharmacology, population pharmacokinetics, interventional trials and optimal trial design. This includes over 15 years in academic institutions in the USA, including as a Professor of Pediatrics, Pharmacology/Toxicology and Vice Chair of Research, including eight years leading a Clinical Trial Office and five years directing a Clinical Research Centre. Independent consultant in clinical pharmacology & modelling/simulation. Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Pharmacology and a Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). PhD in Paediatric Clinical Pharmacology from the University of Otago, Dunedin School of Medicine, New Zealand and MPharm in Clinical Toxicology from the University of Florida.
